Jay Friend
Director of Operations
Coach Jay has swim since he was 5 years old. He found success in his swimming career winning 2 Nationals Titles for Fresno Pacific University.

Coach Jay arrived in Missoula in the Fall of 2014. He started at Missoula Aquatic Club coaching the Silver and Senior groups. In the Fall of 2016, he took over as Head Coach. Since then Jay has coached swimmers to four Top 8 finishes at the US National Championships and is a National Junior Team Coach. Coach Jay coached for Team USA at the 2018 Junior Pan Pacific Championships.
Mike Turner
Lead Coach
Coach Mike grew up swimming for the Helena Lions where he achieved great success in the distance freestyles and backstrokes.

Coach Mike brings 10 years of coaching experience across all age groups and ability levels. In his time as Age Group Head Coach at Missoula Aquatic Club Coach Mike has had over twenty Age Regionals Finalists.
Brady Baughman
Masters Group Coach
Brady grew up swimming for the Missoula YMCA, where he enjoyed a long and successful career.

After a short hiatus, Brady found himself in the sport of swimming again. Brady coaches for MYST, and he has coached the Missoula High School teams and helped lead them to consecutive State Championships in 2018 and 2019. Brady also coaches another Master's group at the Missoula YMCA.
